Have you ever made a tea party before? This homemade Milano cookie recipe will impress everyone! These are definitely the best to have when having a cup of tea or coffee with friends or family (or by yourself) .
Milano Cookies by Pepperidge Farm are my #1 favorite cookies since I was small. For those who don't know about these cookies then you should really give them a try because they are awesome! Living in Egypt has definitely made me a better cooker and baker, getting married to an Egyptian whos family love good food have always been encouraging whenever I made good or sometime not so good food (at the beginning😅). But I didn't take long to get good at cooking especially since I was living with my mother in law who loves and cooks super super good! I learned to cook first then I started my baking journey.
About These Milano Cookies
Texture: These cookies are insanely good they are crispy and with a hard chocolate layer inside that melts in your mouth.
Flavor: The cookie itself tastes like a vanilla sugar cookie, the chocolate layer inside makes a perfect matching flavors.
Time: These cookies barely take any time to make but its best to leave the dough in the fridge after piping them for at least 20 minutes so the cookie won't spread a lot.
Step By Step Directions
Cream the room temperature butter with the sugar for 3 to 5 minutes.
Add your vanilla extract, or powder vanilla.
Add 2 Large eggs (I only had small eggs so I added 3)
Add the flour and mix until just incorporated, do NOT over mix.
5. Pipe lines on a cookie sheet, place the cookie sheet in the fridge for 20 minutes so they won't spread a lot. Then bake in a pre-heated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown in the bottom.
6. Fill the cookies with melted Dark or Milk Chocolate (I prefer Dark)
7. Enjoy!
